About Ms. Chelko
Madeline Chelko is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive clinical experience and a strong focus on patient-centered care to Valley Perinatal Services. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM). Madeline earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she developed her interest in women’s health.
After graduation, Madeline worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse across the country through travel nursing assignments from Tennessee to California, gaining broad experience in diverse care settings. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and specialized as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, focusing on both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Madeline is a member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and remains active in continuing education and clinical advancement. Her interests include patient education, prenatal counseling, and reducing disparities in maternal health, and she is exploring opportunities to contribute to research that improves prenatal care models and patient access to health information.
Known for her approachable demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to advocacy, Madeline strives to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. She currently sees patients at the Estrella office and is proud to be part of a team advancing maternal-fetal care in Arizona.
