About Dr. Martin
Dr. Martin is the Medical Director and co-owner of Clinical Concepts in Obstetrics, LLC. Through her consulting practice, she works with hospitals nationwide to develop obstetric intensive care programs and establish appropriate Maternal Levels of Care. She is also co-host of The Critical Care Obstetrics Podcast, reflecting her commitment to education and improving outcomes for critically ill pregnant patients.
Dr. Martin earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. She is double board certified in both Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Martin has helped lead and expand Maternal-Fetal Medicine practices in multiple states and is widely recognized as an educator and mentor. She serves as Course Director for America’s Board Review Maternal-Fetal Medicine Oral Board Exam Review Course, preparing candidates for board certification.
Dr. Martin recently completed a term on the Board of Directors for the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and currently chairs the Membership and Bylaws Committee. Her clinical interests include medical and surgical complications of pregnancy, with a focus on obstetric critical care, and she is a frequent national speaker and published author in high-acuity obstetrics.
