Suzanne Halt is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. She is also certified in, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Suzanne received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Maine in 1994 where she was on the Dean’s List for Academic Achievement. She received her M.S. with a Concentration in Midwifery from State University of New York, Stony Brook in 2002, and her Post Master’s Certificate in operating room assisting from the University of California Los Angeles in 2008.

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Suzanne’s background includes comprehensive women’s healthcare including routine gynecologic care from menarche through menopause as well as prenatal care. Her experience includes educating patients on proper nutrition, appropriate exercise, as well as explaining complicated medical conditions and treatment, providing contraception and prescription counseling, and performing vaginal deliveries. For the last eleven years, she has been providing care exclusively to high risk women in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including the operating room.

Suzanne gained her extensive experience working with Phoenix Perinatal Associates, Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, Banner Thunder-bird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona, and Phoenix Baptist Hospital. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society for Nursing, the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM), and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE).
