Dr. Sarah Pachtman is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. A native Arizonan, she returned home to join Valley Perinatal after practicing and training at a leading tertiary care center in New York, where she cared for some of the highest-risk obstetric patients.

Inspired by her mother, an OB/GYN physician, Dr. Pachtman is passionate about partnering with patients through every stage of pregnancy, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and supported. Her clinical interests include fetal diagnosis, ultrasound, critical care in pregnancy, maternal mental health, IVF pregnancies, and preconception health optimization.

Dr. Pachtman earned her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and her medical degree from the University of Kentucky before completing advanced training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, fitness, and exploring Arizona’s outdoors. Her personal motto—and the philosophy she brings to every patient encounter—is simple: “Be happy, be well.”
