About Dr. Booker
Dr. Corenthian “Corey” J. Booker is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies. Raised in Annapolis, Maryland, he earned his medical degree from Creighton University—where he also served as a Washington Health Policy Fellow with the National Committee for Quality Assurance—then completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While in fellowship, Dr. Booker further broadened his expertise by obtaining a master’s degree in Clinical Informatics from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. His combined background in medicine, policy, and informatics allows him to approach complex maternal health issues with a systems-based perspective, improving care coordination and quality for high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Booker is passionate about the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He chose this specialty because it allows him to work with a wide range of healthcare professionals and patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. He is especially driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful, generational impact through his work.
As a husband and father of five, Dr. Booker brings a deeply personal understanding of the importance of maternal and family health. His experiences as a parent have strengthened his empathy, sharpened his clinical perspective, and reinforced his mission to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports both mothers and their growing families.
