About Dr. Strong

Dr. Thomas H. Strong, Jr. is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist and Obstetrician-Gynecologist with extensive experience caring for high-risk pregnancies. Raised in a family of healthcare professionals, he developed an early commitment to maternal and fetal health and remains dedicated to delivering exceptional care for women and their babies.

Dr. Strong earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utah. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency through the UCSF-affiliated program in Fresno, California, and went on to fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at LA County-USC Women’s Hospital, where he refined expertise in prenatal diagnosis and complex maternal conditions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Strong has contributed significantly to obstetric medicine through research and academic writing, with more than 60 peer-reviewed publications. He is co-editor of the Obstetric Intensive Care Manual, a widely used reference in maternal care, and author of Expecting Trouble.

Dr. Strong currently practices at Valley Perinatal Services, where he provides compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and babies, drawing on decades of clinical experience and a patient-centered approach.
