While the link between acetaminophen and neurodevelopmental disorders remains uncertain, the dangers of not treating fever or significant pain during pregnancy are well-established and serious.<\/span><\/p>\n

A high, prolonged fever, especially in the first trimester, is a known risk factor for the developing baby. <\/span>Documented risks include<\/span><\/a> an increased chance of miscarriage, neural tube defects (like spina bifida), heart defects, and abdominal wall defects.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
