There are two types of pelvic ultrasounds for women, which include abdominal and vaginal. Pelvic ultrasounds are given to analyze the female reproductive and urinary tracts. The ultrasound image is captured in real-time, and can show the structure and movement of the inside of the body. This type of imaging is painless and does not require any special preparation. We do not use ionizing radiation and there are no known harmful effects. Using this imaging provides the convenience of one test, which allows us to provide results much quicker.<\/li><li>A <strong>Hysterosonography<\/strong>, also known as saline infusion sonogram, is a technique used to slowly infuse sterile saline into the uterine cavity during ultrasound imaging. This technique is noninvasive and allows us to assess abnormalities with the lining of the uterus.<\/li><li>The <strong>Pelvic doppler<\/strong> allows us to evaluate the blood through the arteries and veins within the abdomen.
