Preparing for your appointment

With recent advances in imaging technology, a full bladder is not required for your ultrasound examination.

Pelvic Exams

No special preparation is required for a pelvic exam. Patients have noted that they are more comfortable if they have an empty bladder. If you have any questions about the exam or the potential results, write them down and bring them with you to the appointment.

Family Members

At Valley Perinatal, we are all about healthy happy families. While our rooms are not large, you are welcome to bring family members to the appointment. If there is any concerns feel free to call prior to the appointment.
